Description

Dental burs for crown removal

Features

  • Unique dental bur designed for cutting porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns and full-metal crowns.

  • Cuts efficiently through ceramic veneering and the underlying metal structure without instrument changes.

  • Available in different working lengths: 2.0 mm, 3.5 mm, 5.0 mm, and 8.0 mm.

  • Tip with a transversing blade on tungsten carbide burs for easier penetration into crown material.

Benefits

  • Time-saving solution: no need to switch instruments when cutting metal-ceramic crowns.

  • Reduced heat generation thanks to optimised chip evacuation.

  • Pyramidal cutting geometry ensures precise and effective crown sectioning.

  • Durability and long service life, even under demanding clinical use.

Recommendations for Use

  • Optimal rotation speed: 160,000 rpm with a micromotor.

  • Work at a 45° angle between the bur and the crown to be removed.

  • Always use sufficient irrigation (minimum 50 ml/min).

  • Do not exceed a working pressure of 2N.

  • For non-precious alloys prone to chipping, use with a turbine applying light pressure.

  • For zirconia and high-fusing ceramics, use 4ZR/4ZRS burs instead of the H4MCXL.

  • Assigned Material: no full ceramic
  • Maximum Speed: 450000
