Precision changes outcomes
Finding MB2 should not depend on luck. It should follow a deliberate sequence of assessment, access, visualisation and negotiation.
Designed for dentists seeking greater confidence and consistency in molar endodontics, this one-day course turns a common clinical frustration into a repeatable workflow. You will combine anatomical understanding, CBCT interpretation, magnification and carefully selected instruments with extensive microscope-based practice.
You will leave with a clear template for predictably locating MB2 canals, and a precise understanding of the instruments required at each stage.
What you will learn
Every element of the day is directed towards greater confidence, efficiency and control when treating maxillary molars.
Understand MB2 anatomy, prevalence and variation, and recognise the landmarks that guide a purposeful search.
Incorporate cone beam CT into assessment and treatment planning to anticipate anatomy before access.
Use magnification, illumination, access burs, ultrasonics and orifice-location techniques with precision.
Develop practical strategies using endo tracers, D-finders and Super Files to negotiate challenging canals.
Apply manual, rotary and reciprocating approaches to safe, controlled glide-path preparation.
Bring every stage together in a reliable template you can take back to your own clinical practice.
From the operating room
The protocol taught on the day links three-dimensional assessment directly to what you see at the access cavity.
The day
The programme runs from 09:00 to 17:00. Timings may be refined once the course date is confirmed.
Anatomy, prevalence, variations and clinical significance.

Hands-on armamentarium
Explore the instruments and techniques that support a controlled, efficient search and negotiation.
What to bring
Practical sessions use a combination of extracted teeth and 3D-printed teeth.
Ideally, please bring extracted maxillary molars that have already been accessed.
Guidance on preparing, storing and transporting your teeth will be sent to registered delegates before the course.
