Below are some characteristics of the artificial teeth:
• Anatomy based on CT scans
• Hardness similar to dentin
• Radiopacity similar to that of natural teeth
• Anatomical standardization
Upper molar- This is the quintessential 4-canal Maxillary Molar. Pulp chamber has moderate calcification, MB2 canal has apical terminus separate from the MB1, each communicating twice through mid-root isthmuses and ultimately bifurcating in the last 1-2mm’s. Palatal canal has a large .39mm apical diameter with buccal kick.
TrueJaw – EndoSurg models have authentic periradicular lesions associated with five teeth in the maxillary and eight teeth in mandibular jaws. Five lesions in the maxillary (#3, #6, #9, #12, #14) perforate and two lesions lie hidden behind the buccal cortex. Eight lesions in the mandibular (#19, #20, #21, #23, #24, #27, #29, #30) where seven have an open apex.
