MANI U Files are ultrasonic endodontic files used with an active ultrasonic device to support root canal irrigation, debridement and canal enlargement. They are designed to be fitted into a suitable 120° ultrasonic file holder and used with vertical reciprocating or lifting movement during endodontic treatment.
Ultrasonic activation inside the canal
MANI U Files are used by attaching an adapter (E1 or to ED1) an active ultrasonic device, such as a scaler, through a suitable file holder. The ultrasonic movement helps agitate irrigant, support debris removal and remove broken files within the root canal system.

How MANI U Files fit into an irrigation workflow
After shaping and initial irrigation, a MANI U File can be used with an ultrasonic unit to agitate irrigant within the canal. The file should move freely and should not be forced into the canal.
